I just finished watching this Thai movie called "A Little Thing Called Love" where Mario Maurer stars in. It's a story about high school love where a not-so-pretty girl falls in love with the senior/campus crush/football player/photographer and her tricks and ways on how to get noticed.

One may think that this is another chick flick that the girl will eventually just end up with the guy. Hell yeah you're right! But that's not the point here. Sure, they ended up together in the end but what is really good about this film is that everyone can surely relate to it. And yes I am guilty too. Haha. They've shown in the movie some ways on how people try to get noticed by their crushes.

1. You keep whatever your crush gave you. It doesn't matter whether it's just a candy or what but you'll surely keep it and stare at it for hours.

2. You try to have a glimpse of our crushes by walking past their rooms or tambayans.

3. When some girl tries to be flirty and all with him you get angry.

4. You'll try to call him just to hear his voice.

5. You'll try your best to be more beautiful, smart, and talented for him. Maybe you'll even try something you've never done before just to impress him.

6. When he's talking to you always have this calm poker face but when you turn arund you get giddy and all.

7. Some people, like in the movie, (SWEAR!) even buys books that are like Guides to Get Your Love whatever. They would even follow every method there is just to get their crush.

8. When he tries to tell you a joke even though it's not funny at all you'll pretend to laugh and even compliment him that he's funny.

9. No matter how many other guys there is in the world you'll wait for him.

10. IN EVERYTHING HE DOES IT MEANS SOMETHING TO YOU. ALAM NA. :D

...but in the end it's just a movie. I mean we know that surely they'll end up happy because in real life what are the odds of having a Mario Maurer as your schoolmate? What are the odds of having him to like you among all other pretty/fairer/talented girls in your school? What are the odds that he'll even notice you?

And what are the odds of ending up with him? I'm not trying to be a pessimist or what but what I'm trying to say here is that even though you think your life is like parallel to the movie, well sorry to break it to you, it's not.

YOU'LL HAVE YOUR OWN CHICK FLICK. YOU'LL HAVE YOUR OWN SHOT AT THIS. YOU'LL HAVE YOUR OWN MOVIE. MAYBE NOT EVERYONE COULD WATCH IT BUT IT DOENSN'T MATTER. WHAT MATTERS IS THAT WHAT YOU'LL HAVE IS TRUE AND YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE TO THINK ABOUT THE ODDS BECAUSE IT WILL HAPPEN, SOMEDAY. :)

P.S. CRUUUUSH KO NAAA SI MARRRRIOOOO MAUUUUREEEER. :))
